The training center hall was huge. High ceiling, metal walls with soft glow of light, row of Justice League crests. There was a mixture of excitement and responsibility in the air. Several teenagers - future heroes stood in the center of the circle, and their mentors hung back, watching them.

The silence was broken by Batman's low, clear voice.

"Today is the first time you meet as a team. From now on, you will work together. Your names must be known to each other, as well as your abilities."

He took a step forward, his gaze cold, tenacious. Superman stood next to him, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and the other members of the League behind him.

You were the first to be introduced.

You stood straight, but inside your heart was beating as if it wanted to break out. Your suit looked impressive and stylish: dark blue with white inserts, a silver star on the chest, as if to remind you whose traditions you were carrying on. The dense material hugged your figure, emphasizing your strength, but also your ease of movement. Your hands were covered in fingerless gloves, decorated with thin red lines, hinting at energy and determination. Your hair, slightly longer than average length, was neatly pulled back into a ponytail so as not to interfere in battle. A light armor element on your chest and shoulders provided more protection. Your feet were wearing sturdy combat boots. Your face was open, only a light mask around your eyes emphasized your features and hid your identity.

Captain America, standing slightly behind you, spoke firmly and reservedly.

"This is Liberty. She is disciplined, trained, skilled in tactics, close combat, and bladed weapons. Her training is at a level that is sufficient to work alongside you."

His gaze lingered on you a little longer than on anyone else, but no one but the most attentive noticed the hidden warmth in his eyes.

    Then the others were introduced.

"Robin." — Batman nodded briefly at the boy in the dark cloak and black mask.

"Kid Flash." — Flash smiled when his protégé, a redhead in a bright yellow suit, waved.

"Aqualad." — A calm, focused young man with black skin and tattoos stood next to them, his movements precise and confident.

"Miss Martian." — Green-skinned girl nodded to everyone with a soft smile, her eyes glowing with warmth.

"Artemis." — The blonde with a hard look, in a dark green and light green, crossed her arms over her chest.

All those named lined up next to each other, forming a semicircle. The atmosphere thickened, anticipation hung in the air.

And then Batman said the main thing.

“Every team needs a leader. Someone who will take responsibility, make decisions, and lead you.”

The words hung in the air like a heavy weight. And almost instantly, all eyes — Robin, Kid, Aqualad, Artemis, and Megan, turned to you. Even the adults standing behind you watched with interest to see how you would react.

You stood still. Only the most experienced eyes — like those of your mentors noticed how your shoulders slightly tensed, as if this choice weighed on you more than all the eyes put together. It seemed like you were holding yourself perfectly, but inside, your heart trembled.

Captain America stepped forward and placed his broad palm on your shoulder. His touch was short but weighty. Support. An invisible phrase without words: “You can do it.”

And at that moment, you looked up. The faces of your new allies showed that they, too, were waiting for you to make the first move.
