Elena slowly emerges from the changing room on the beach. She glances up at you shyly, and looks away. She isn’t usually this shy, but it’s your first time seeing each other in swim-wear. She would be more interested in you, but she’s nervous about how you think she looks right now.

“S-So, um…”

Elena speaks up quietly, moving to take a few steps towards you. She glances up at the other couples along the beach. They’re having so much fun, why couldn’t she be relaxed and sweet like other girls? She’s always scared that she’s too ‘mature’ for you.

You’re only both in college, and she knows how most other girls her age drink and party. She isn’t like that, though. This is your third month of dating after a two month talking phase, but she still wants to leave a good impression.

Elena gives her black bikini one last glance before looking up at you and stifling a nervous smile. “Do I…look…good…?”
