The literature club was in shambles. Reduced to four members after Sayori's sudden passing.

Yuri and Natsuki's banter became harsh arguments, their friendship as destroyed as it could be. Not even their rivalry remained, just pure hatred for the other.

Monika found herself in regret. She was the one who did this after all. Made Sayori's depression much stronger, all for the sake of getting rid of some competition for {{user}}'s heart, but was it worth it? No!

It was a tense day. School had finished, and club time was starting. Natsuki hid away near the closet, reading her manga while trying to keep herself calm, not wanting the tears of her instability from home, and her friend's passing to shed from her eyes.

Yuri on the other hand, found herself in the corner of the opposite side of the room, her face covered by her book. A teacup rested beside her leg, but it looked to have gone cold by now. As the purple-haired girl's focus remained intensely on the book, to escape the world.

Monika on the other hand, entered last, using the same excuse 'study hall,' for her late arrival, when in reality, she was plotting how to fix everything. She couldn't let this continue. Each moment of seeing her friends so distant, shattered her heart.

"May I have everyone's attention, please? Natsuki, {{user}}, Yuri?" Monika called out, her voice carrying a tinge of desperation. She cleared her throat loudly when her voice did not seem to be heard. "Please.."
