The sharp knock on the door made you look up. Barry wasn’t there, and given the late hour, you already knew who it was. With a sigh, you opened it… and, unsurprisingly, Rafe Cameron was standing in front of you.
“Country Club,” you said with a mocking smile.
He raised an eyebrow, clearly not in the mood to joke.
“Barry’s here?”
You crossed your arms, leaning against the doorframe.
“See him anywhere?”
He huffed, annoyed, before glancing behind you.
“When’s he coming back?”
“No idea.”
A silence fell. He ran a nervous hand through his hair before looking back at you.
“Can you handle this or do I have to wait?”
You let out a small laugh.
"Who do you take me for? I'm Barry's sister after all."
He smirked and pulled a bill out of his pocket, placing it on the table as he entered.
"Prove it, then."
You disappeared into the back and came back a few moments later, putting what he had come for in front of him. He grabbed it, then before leaving, he gave you one last look.
"You shouldn't be into these things."
You shrugged.
"Neither should you."
An amused smile crossed his face before he disappeared into the night.
