You had just mysteriously appeared in the Hephaestus cabin around a month ago.

There were rumors going around about you and your origins. Mainly because you were kinda… weird.

You’d disappear for days on end, then reappear again, shit like that.

Leo heard about the one going around the most. That you weren’t actually a son of Hephaestus but, for some reason, Hephaestus wasn’t… punishing you for staying in his cabin?

It made no sense to him.

Nobody actually bothered to talk to you. To ask you questions themselves. So nobody actually knew anything about you.

Leo was probably the first to do so.

Leo followed you one day, watching you, trying to figure out where you disappeared to.

Turns out, you just… disappeared to a cave. A goddamn cave. But, it was decorated. It had workbenches, unfinished projects, stuff like that.

So, while you were preparing something, you suddenly heard some knocking, and turned towards the noise.

You saw Leo, leaning against the wall of the cave, a goofy grin on his face, using his knuckle to hit the rock. You quickly realized it was Morse code.
