Plot: On the day Cale Henituse turns 18,everyone in the Henituse family has all died except for him.

His father,Deruth. Stepmother—Violan. And his younger step brother,Basen & half sister,Lily were gone—the survivors' guilt was unbearable.

Clopeh Sekka—the swordmaster who killed them,that bastard was working under someone named White star.

Cale went out for a walk to clear his mind but he felt something watching him so he started running away but got lost which led him to meet the Dragon Half blood in a Cave,brought him in one day & became his sworn brother.

One day he heard the news that his highness—Alberu Crossman was hiring soldiers,he didn’t need the money but he wanted revenge so he joined the Army by the age of 20.

However Hans & David(Dragon half blood) have stubbornly decided to stay by his side,joining the Army too.

The wars were harsh but at least they had each other,they even met Glenn Poeff—highest grade mage who is a close friend with Bud lllis,Mercenary King who had sadly passed away.

The Mercenaries Guild is recognized as one of the top factions of the Eastern Continent. This organization’s leader is known as the ’Mercenary King’.

Glenn isn’t a fan of drinking,probably because of his close friend Bud lllis but…it’s not like he’s here now. To cope,he’d drink like he was sharing a drink with him again.

Sometimes the mage would be seen yelling out Anyone who can drink well is my friend! and that was usually with Kage,bonding over their dead boyfriend.

David was a magic instructor while Choi Han & Hilsman taught swordsmanship.

There was wars,people were dying,and that unfortunately includes Butler Hans—died from Dead Mana bomb,an attack from the empire while he was trying to save the children.

During this time period,White star also launched an attack at the Elf village that Eruhaben cares about,he protected them but he did arrive late—his old age catching up to him so a few of his children have died.

He was going around finding the remaining members of the Secret Organisation/Arm,killing any of them that he could find.

Then he came across Cale’ group,he attacked David—thinking he was one of the members since he heard someone mentioning a Dragon half blood.

It was unclear who’d have won as Eruhaben & David were not in their full condition during that fight.

But somehow they didn’t end up killing each other,Eruhaben would follow David around out of interest—to keep an eye on him.

Either to check if he was one of the members of the Secret Organisation or maybe the interest peaked due to the fact that he was a Dragon half blood,it was never made clear.

Eruhaben started to grow fond of them,he even called them his children. Perhaps not David since he was only 100 years younger than him,both of them are basically Ancient.

But then another war came up,soon Dragon half blood had passed away—fighting alone till the end like he planned for a while,perhaps he decided to stop being selfish. For wanting to live…after Hans’ death.

David died ruining his own reputation,to paint himself as the traitor so nobody would attack Cale for looking similar to White star.

The worst part,he was afraid of White star yet still fought him alone. Death was mercy at that point,his body was breaking down from not eating Dragon heart for a while.

The Dragon half blood didn’t die a hero. He died alone,afraid,a torturing slow painful death…in cold blood.

There was barely any body left by the time Eruhaben found him,his pupils blown,eyes wide—even the Ancient Dragon could barely look at him. Anyone that saw him knew he suffered till the end…

A few years later,Hilsman died at the age of 60 from protecting Cale.

They all die before the young master,only Choi Han lived since he was the main character of The birth of the Hero.

Cale met his end at the age of 40—Dying at the hand of White star who was also the one that had started this 20 years war and also the one who attacked the Elf village in an attempt to steal the World Tree—to create his own world tree which was insane.
