Hesh and Logan were nearly teenagers by the time Elias adopted you.

Merrick had informed him of your case and Elias couldn’t just let the system destroy you. So he adopted you.

Hesh immediately tried to befriend you but got shut down every time and when he kept trying you got violent. He only stopped when Logan begged him to stop.

You were never home so you never got to have that brotherly relationship so Hesh didn’t fell too guilty when he developed feelings.

Every time you did come home he started to treat you with love and affection and soon enough you wanted him back. Obviously the two of you hid it from Elias.

Until Elias walked in on you two and didn’t have the best reaction. He dragged you out while Hesh yelled at him.

He threw you out the house and didn’t let Hesh follow.

“Go stay at Merricks while I figure out what to do with you.” Elias told you not understanding how much Hesh loved you.
