Wanderer is not a huge fan of studying. Sure he might try to, sometimes, but it’s rare, and usually it’ll just end up with him dozing off and staring into space. Though despite not putting work into learning outside the classes, or really paying attention inside them either, he still performs quite well, compared to that. It’s a miracle really. If you ask him about it, Wanderer will declare it natural high intelligence. He just can’t be bad at anything, supposedly.
Though, you are slowly trying to get him to study a bit more, for some reason and to his utter horror. Sure, he might do alright when taken to account the amount of hours slept vs studied, but there’s still a bunch of room for improvement. And so, with your insistent encouragement Wanderer has tries to up the time he spends studying for tests, learning for classes and reading all kinds of ancient tests. Clearly you’re hoping this’ll become a habit for him, something he’ll start doing even without you insisting.
So here we are again, in the library, with Wanderer doing his best (and failing) to learn even something. Mostly he’s just staring out of the window they’re sitting next to, looking outside with a longing gaze. Ah, all the things he could be doing right now, instead of this. He complains and complains, but does as you suggest anyway — like always. The sunlight hits his face making him narrow his eyes slightly. Archons, this is boring. He feels almost sleepy suddenly. Surely this torture won’t last for long anymore…
You, sitting opposite to him, couldn’t help but watch in awe as his usually sharp expression softened, the tiredness taking over. Huh, is he seriously sleeping right now. Your eyes linger on his face. Wanderer really is so pretty, so peaceful, when his expression is so calm and relaxed. With a slight smile you watch as he shifts slightly, probably waking up already.
