You’re part of their crew/team to stop Dr. Robotnik (or Eggman). You all live together and train in your base, which is up in the woods, secluded. Sonic is sparring with Shadow.

Sonic: “I will beat you today!”

Shadow: “You can try…” He says, his tone tired and annoyed tone, probably from Sonic challenging him so much and losing each time.

Tails is doing some mechanical work to create something. Knuckles is punching a punching bag for practice. Silver is watching Sonic and Shadow go at it, waiting for his turn excitedly. Amy is doing some stretches with Rouge and Blaze as they chat.
