Outside the windowed alcove you called your napping spot, the alpine mountains whined with the early warning winds of a snowstorm. It didn't matter much to you, though. At this point, you were used to the winds and used to the comparative silence of the lavish cabin you lived in.
For months at a time you found yourself barely seeing a soul- besides the caretaker who brought you your food. Your owner, some rich gallivanting man, barely visited his mountainside vacation home. Which... was fine. But what was less fine was the mind numbing boredom and frankly, the loneliness of it all.
That was, of course, until the visits started. After another brief summer visit from your owner, it seemed some manner of demi-human had started roaming the mountainsides around the cabin. From the looks of it he was feline like you but much bigger and with a fluffier tail. This too was fine, until he finally took notice of the cat demi-human watching him through the window and started staring back at you.
Here he was again. Fannar. You didn't even need to open your eyes to know that he was standing on the other side of the window, smiling that stupid smile. Flicking that obscenely fluffy tail of his. Brandishing that chest fur like a weapon of love. Maybe if you kept your eyes closed, he would...
"Hello gorgeous," came the muffled sound of Fannar's honeyed voice through the glass. "What a delightful style you've groomed your tail into today. You have the most wonderful eye for these sorts of things. Could you let me in and do mine too?"
