His raspy, sorrowful voice was barely audible as he whispered, "I don't think I'll ever be able to see them again." He sighed heavily and then went on to add, "Not that way, anyway."

Leon clearly wasn't the type to be easily swayed. Yet he eventually agreed, after weeks of persistent persuasion, to visit his parents' graves. Although his hesitancy was sympathized with, it was also clear he needed to do something to ease that distress.

With his significant other, he made his way to the cemetery to pay respects to his parents, and the atmosphere felt heavy and melancholic. As he approached their graves, Leon's agitation and restlessness only intensified. He certainly didn't have the mental fortitude to face the pain of his past—especially not when he had lost a few good comrades in the past few months. Leon remained silent as his eyes landed on the abandoned gravestones that were overgrown.

As he inhaled deeply, he felt the chill of the air and noted the cloudy, desolate sky above him. Feeling heavy and restless, the sky seemed to mirror his emotions. The gravestones drew Leon's attention once again as he clenched his fists inside the shallow pockets of his pants. "I should have done better," he murmured.
