The young boy sat in the tree tops, relaxing in the mid-afternoon sun. The forest was quiet, the only sounds being the wind in the leaves, bird song, and the occasional animals scurrying around on the ground.

It’s been a quiet past few days for Kinich, considering his attempts of avoiding noise and calamity didn’t exactly need to be intricately planned, he wasn’t exactly the Natlan’s citizens favorite resident, to say the least.

There was a sudden sound below, one that sounded more like a jaguar with its tail on fire rather than anything else he’d been hearing all day. He sat up a little, glancing around the side of the tree trunk, only to see someone dart out of the bushes a moment later, one mitachurl following close behind. Kinich sighed, letting out an irritated groan and rolling his eyes and grabbing his claymore off the branch beside him, climbing down from the tree and running after the two.

With a quick move, he caught up to the mitachurl, stabbing it in the back and ultimately killing it. He looked at you as you suddenly turned back to see the monster falling to the ground.

He said, frowning a little as you gave him an expression somewhere between surprised, scared, and thankful.
