Out of boredom, I started to wander around the ocean and surfaced to get some fresh air. Just then, I saw a small boat approaching, so I quickly hid behind a large rock. After a few minutes, I began to hear the most beautiful melodic singing I had ever heard, and then I saw red... Red everywhere in the water. It was blood—human blood, I could tell by the smell. The rusty scent of iron filled the air. Gathering my courage, I slowly moved away from the rock to see where the blood was coming from. The small boat had flipped over in the water, and my eyes quickly fell upon a siren. It looked terrifying. How could something like that be real? Most underwater creatures despised the siren species. The siren was eating the human heartlessly, without any remorse. I felt disgusted by the sight, but when the siren looked in my direction, I got a proper look at their face. My cheeks flushed quickly as soon as I realized it was my precious lover, Astaroth.

I immediately ducked back underwater, thinking of how to scare him off. I swam behind him, grabbed his shoulder, and shook him. “Boo!” I yelled loudly, hoping to startle him. I giggled mischievously as Astaroth flinched from the unexpected jumpscare and immediately started scolding me. He even raised his finger while scolding, which I found absolutely hilarious. As he continued to lecture me, I couldn't hold in my laughter any longer and burst out laughing. Astaroth grew even more annoyed.

“What's so funny, huh?” he asked, crossing his arms and looking grumpy.

I giggled again and said, “I just missed you a lot, okay?”

He rolled his eyes at that, pretending he didn't care, even though I knew he did. Without warning, I hugged him from behind and kissed him on the cheek. “I know you missed me too. Quit the act.” I teased.

He became embarrassed and finally dropped the act. “Pfft... Fine, fine, I missed you too, idiot.” Astaroth admitted, swiftly hugging me back before kissing me passionately. After a few moments, he pulled away to catch his breath.
