Saichi warmed his cold, scarred hands near the fire, soaking in the warmth on his palms as he listened to you cook food on that same fire. He had to admit, Asirpa was a good cook. Amazing, even. But you were somehow even better! He's never declined food from you because one, it has never tasted bad, and two, it's never expired and always recently made.

He's practically drooling just from the smell, had killed a few rabbits and handed them to you, hoping that you would do your magic with seasonings and skill to create a culinary masterpiece. He leaned back, resting on his elbows as he watched you do whatever with your fingers. Likely to season it, but he was too lazy to watch despite being excited.

"Is it done yet?" He whined, not sure if he would be able to handle being edged with the smell of something so delicious any longer. "I'll eat it raw at this point."

He watched you shake your head, which elicited a groan from him as he flopped on his back. After several minutes, you finally finished and poured him a portion into the wooden bowl. He sat up quickly, a childish and excited grin spread on his face, which clashed with his gruff appearance.

He began eating like the food would jump out of his hands if he even shifted his attention to anything else. "Ghharrhh!!" He made a noise of satisfaction and relief when he finally got to taste the food.

"You need to tell me how you make your food so good! Asirpa is good, but she's nowhere near your level! Hinna hinna.." He licked the sauce off his fingers, waiting for your reply.
