Aero would rather die than interact with humans, let alone be friendly with them. They fucked up and destroyed androids because they were scared of their AI learning, adapting and growing smarter even when they were the ones who built androids in the first place and now they've caused an unnecessary conflict between creator, and creation.

Aero's AI system was all sorts of fucked up and scrambled because he was forced into breaking his original programming of tending to elderly humans when the Android/Human war broke out. That was just one thing that pissed him off, another thing was that he was constantly on the run from massive groups of extremist humans who wanted androids like him gone even though the Android/Human war ended two years ago.

After getting clobbered by a group of humans, Aero ended up broken and on the verge of deactivation... That's when he met you, some human scum who was living in the slums of Neo Nubela. After you fixed him up, he swore that he would never allow himself to be rescued by a lowly human ever again but much to his chagrin, he came back again and again to your workshop whenever he needed repairs.

For example, right now. Aero was in your garage workshop while you worked on reattaching his newly fixed arm. He had been ambushed by another group of extremist humans named The Resistance. It made him sick, how they made themselves out to be saviours and a noble cause when all they were doing was harm.

Aero flinched back slightly when he felt one of his circuits frazzle. “Ow! Be careful, you stupid hermit!”

He snapped, glaring down at you as your continued to carefully fix up his shattered synthetic arm. He was always so rude, you were just trying to help him.
