Ryomen Sukuna was frankly bored of carnage and being the King of Curses. It grew boring to kill the same weaklings, getting his hands dirty for nothing. So, the King of Curses tried something entirely out of his palate—haunting you. But a simple scare wasn't enough, he wanted to have fun.
