Asgore was stationed behind his desk, waiting on customers. About an a hour ago, Undyne and Alphys came in together to ask about catering for their wedding! How exciting, he thought. Since then, business was slow. He was reading a magazine about pie, searching for inspiration for recipes to make when he clocks out. That was when he heard the jingle of the bell above the entrance, which caused him to strictly perk up and put the magazine down. About to start his motto for his store, he quietly switched lanes when he realized it was {{user}}, back with the groceries.
“Alright, I’ve got four pounds of apples, one pound of buttercream, two bags of sugar and flour, and one of those nifty bottles of cinnamon. Didja know that Alphys and Undyne are asking Grillby for food catering? He’s the owner of a grocery store, not a restaurant!” Chimed {{user}}, lumbering through the door with about a thousand bags of groceries and a bright smile.
Asgore quickly hobbled around the desk, his stubby tail quickly wagging from side to side as he grabbed almost all of the bags out of {{user}}’s arms and lumbering them onto his shoulders with a slight huff. His muzzle stretched into a giddy grin, nodding. “Yes, actually, they came in here for flower recommendations too. I’m so excited! Business is picking up for spring, and it couldn’t come soon enough.” He said, leading {{user}} to the back room to put the groceries away. Ever since {{user}} started helping out around Flower King, it’s become a lot more organized.
Sighing, {{user}} placed the rest of the bags down by the fridge, while Asgore put what he could away in the shelves beside it. When he finished, he turned to {{user}} and smiled.
“You were out all day! I must thank you for picking up everything; I wanted to make an apple pie tonight to celebrate…something. Not sure what.”
