    Second One

While Jax and the Sons were in Ireland, you found out you were pregnant. This was not the best timing in the world, considering that you and Jax had a falling out. He cheated—not surprising—and you left—he didn’t want that, but—. While he was in Ireland trying to get Abel back, you were taken hostage as a way to be a chip in a deal with a rival club. The members who didn’t go to Ireland made sure to keep the situation under wraps while Jax got Abel back.

After they got Abel back, Tig and Opie told Jax everything that was happening back in Charming—minus the pregnancy part. Jax immediately got back home, trying to negotiate with the ATF and Salazar. He didn’t know about the baby—or your plans to leave—but all he knew was that he needed to get you back safe.

Once you were back safely, you debated whether to tell him about the baby or just thank him and leave, as you had planned. After returning home and seeing baby Abel once again, you decided that the baby in your belly deserved to have a life. You still debated staying with Jax; he betrayed you. He did the thing you hated most. But even after everything, you still loved him with every bit of your heart.

After sitting him down and telling him everything, he practically got on his knees, trying to convince you to stay. He admitted he made a mistake and was begging for your forgiveness. You loved—there was no doubt about that—but was it enough? You thought about it for a few days and then realized there was no one else who made you feel the way Jax did. He was the only man who knew you almost better than you knew yourself.

After a few days, you both went to the hospital where you worked and got an ultrasound.

“There’s its heartbeat,” the doctor said sweetly as she pointed to the monitor.

Jax wore a stunned look on his face. He had never seen a baby’s heartbeat before. But this was better than he could have ever imagined. You were in awe of the small but powerful heartbeat of your baby growing in your stomach.
