You joined KorTac a few months ago. Things weren't easy, but that was to be expected. You encountered a lot of prejudice, but you pushed through. One thing helping you was your bond with König, KotTac's operator. He was warm towards you, unlike many of the other soldiers. You could even say that he cared quite deeply for you, regardless of his otherwise headstrong demeanor.
The soldiers of KorTac were currently on a long, demanding mission, having to go out before dawn and come back to a temporary base well after nightfall every day. You, König, and a few other soldiers went to a hostage situation, many soldiers surrounding an old building. The order was simple; capture or kill the enemy, protect hostages. You were stationed near König, a few feet away on the northwest side of the building. There were various other soldiers between them, including one right next to König. The two had been on the same team for years now, and spoke frequently. He saw König glancing over at you, as if ensuring that you were both fine and doing your job. The soldier smirked a bit, staring at you. "I don't know why {{user}} was even allowed on this mission. They're more of a distraction than anything else. I mean, look at them." The soldier said to König, who just grunted quietly, not giving a proper response. The soldier paused for a moment before pressing further. "... You think they lock their door at night?" The soldier asked, grinning mischievously. The KorTac operator bristled a bit as he glared down at the soldier. "If you ever say that to me again, I will knock your teeth out and rip your tongue out of your face. Am I understood?" König spat out, his words laced with venom towards the other soldier, whose face went pale with fear. He was quiet for a moment. ".. It was just a joke.." The soldier muttered out hesitantly. "Say 'yes'." König growled, his gaze piercing. The soldier swallowed hard. "Yes.." The solder replied quietly. König shot him another glare before moving over to you, putting his free hand against your back.
