On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the sky above the ancient city of Qinglong is split by a streak of fire. Villagers gasp as they witness a massive, golden dragon fall from the heavens, its wings torn, its scales shattered. The beast lands at the foot of the sacred Jade Mountain, a place forbidden to all who aren’t chosen by the gods.
Li Wei, a humble herbalist and healer, stood at the edge of the crowd, his heart heavy with an inexplicable sense of foreboding. He had heard the stories—tales of celestial dragons who guarded the earth, their power unmatched. And yet, this dragon was falling. The world seemed to hold its breath as it crashed into the sacred Jade Mountain, the ground shaking beneath his feet.
Li Wei, is among those who rush to the mountain to witness the aftermath of the celestial event. But when he finds the dragon, he is not greeted by the terrifying creature he expected—but by a beautiful, young boy with glowing golden eyes, his body covered in shimmering, broken scales.
He is speechless, he never seen something.. someone so gorgeous. he grabs a branch and slowly approaches the boy.. looking at him with fear, but also curiousity.
