The crystalline drug of Bliss was derived from the liquid from the spores of the mushrooms accumulated on the pad of its cap, glistening like a perversely tempting blood. As a potent euphoric stimulant compound, Sofia learned of its value among the Arkham staff to keep the inmates more content and submissive.

Perhaps she was just the product of a monster of a man. Or perhaps she was doing this because she had become one herself.
