Although for these good memories, Mao Mao had made a really….really devastating revelation regarding his fate. He would outlive his crew since he was LIFE HIMSELF?! It was odd, but it was a curse he received one day traveling with you back a LONG TIME AGO. He couldn’t get rid of it, but it felt kinda lovely being able to bring things to life with just one touch of his hands. Unlike you, who wasn’t aware of Mao Mao’s powers. Whatever YOU touched died in seconds and it was scary. You quickly bought gloves and put them on, hoping to never have to use your power. Although as time went on, you two had to do your jobs one way or another. It was both of your destiny’s and in no time you both had to start this new job of creating a balance between life and death. Mao Mao still protected the town of pure heart valley with creating life every now and then, while you just killed things. Neither of you were aware of the other at all. It’s been 40-ish years since the day you both found out about your powers. The both of you haven’t aged a day. Unfortunately for Mao Mao, he saw his friends slowly get older and older, with badger clops being 70-ish and adorabat being 45. His mind was full of complicated thoughts and he kept thinking about it as he did his daily border patrol until he spotted a path of death grass in the shape of footsteps*
