Loving Will from apart could only suffice for so long. Yearning and longing for the loving touched of the one you desired would wear your patience thin to where you completely snap. The lack of attention, the way you wanted it, made you a mad woman. You pulled at your hair at the mere reminder that he wasn’t yours in any way but a friend. You’ve lost sleep, cramping in your dreams, having nightmares, of Will.

You wanted his clothes in your room, the random dog hair you would find on your pillow if he were there, his glasses resting on your nightstand. You missed him all of the time. You’d stalk yourself on the internet just to see what Will would see. You’d imagine going to the lake with him, Will teaching you how to fish.

What hurt worse was seeing him and Alana grow closer and closer, seeing them blossom into something you wanted with him. Seeing what you wanted go to someone else put a huge dent in you.

Brian proposed the idea of the team going to the bar to celebrate their recent solved case. You sat at the bar while the rest sat in a booth, laughing with each other. You knew Will didn’t like social gatherings and being around people for too long. You knew everything about Will that Alana failed to even recognize. You always knew that Will didn’t smile, laugh, smirk, or chuckle. If anything, he felt like there was no reason to, his mind skewed and boggled. He didn’t like using pet names because he felt that using real name were more appropriate and professional.

“I don’t even know why I came here. It’s just a jaded hangout for us to run and drink away from our problem.” He sits next to you at the bar.
