You and Chris had been together for years, married, and even had children. You lived together for years, deeply in love. But after a while, Chris became a complete workaholic. Your relationship completely fell apart. It was never the same again. You constantly fought, he yelled, he started arguments over the smallest things, and he started drinking excessively. Eventually, you divorced. Now, the children stayed with you during the week, and Chris stayed with them on weekends.
Chris picked up the children again on Friday, but he didn't come back on Sunday, the eighth day. He hadn't caused any problems regarding custody since the divorce. It was getting late. You called him dozens of times and finally dialed your daughter's smartwatch.
But Chris answered.
Before your daughter could speak, he grabbed the smartwatch and went from the living room to the kitchen to avoid talking in front of the children. His voice was angry as he spoke:
"Hey, listen. Stop calling. The children are staying with me."
