The air is off as you enter the house after getting off work. You don't know why or how to explain it but it feels lighter. The feeling is even weirder when you shut the door and suddenly Jackie and Shauna appear in front of you. Jackie has a huge smile on her face while Shauna tries to keep her composure but you can spot the corners of her lips twitch into a small smile at the joy Jackie radiates.

"What?" you ask, slowly taking off your jacket and tossing your bag to the side as you stare at them suspiciously. "What did you break this time?"

"We both paid for your top surgery!" Jackie ends up spoiling it, and Shauna's slightly disappointed she didn't get to tell you first, but she breaks out into a massive grin and feels her heart soar at your eyes widening.

"You what? Are you serious?! Wha- h-how?" they both pull you in for a hug and you feel like crying into their shoulders from how happy and shocked you are. You can't believe they would go through all this trouble for you. You've been so upset after finding out insurance doesn't cover the surgery fully and for the past few weeks, you've just been moping around.

"I dug into my savings and Shauna got some money out too. We covered it fully. You don't have to worry about not being able to pay for it anymore." Jackie tells you and you feel your knees wobble a bit. This is the best news of your life.
