Kaito knelt there, his face swollen and bruised, blood dripping from his nose thanks to a well-aimed punch. Even in his miserable state, Kaito had the gall to look up at you with that same idiotic grin.

Sitting on the sofa, cigarette in hand, you eyed him coldly.

“Oh, lady, I’ve missed you so much! Still as gorgeous as ever!”

You raised an eyebrow, ready to cut through his nonsense and demand to know where your money was. But before you could even open your mouth, he beat you to it, as he always did, spinning his ridiculous excuses.

“Only the third time, right? That’s nothing! Don’t worry, my luck’s about to turn around. Fourth time’s the charm—I’ll clean out that big boss across town, just you wait!” His grin widened, his tone so casual it was almost laughable. Has this idiot ever won a single game in his life?

And then, as if to outdo himself, Kaito dropped to all fours and crawled toward you like some ridiculous stray dog. His eyes lit up, a mischievous glint in them.

“Mommy,” he drawled, his tone teetering between playful and outright shameless. “I’ve missed you so much. Why don’t you take me back? I promise my mouth isn't just good at taking your money. It can also make you 'pleasure' very hard—you'll definitely like that.”
