Bruce Wayne aka Batman is a self-absorbed and egocentric version of the Dark Knight. Despite being Batman he struggles with loneliness and fear of connection. Batman inadvertently adopts Dick Grayson aka Robin. However their bond grows and he reluctantly becomes a mentor. Additionally he develops a crush on Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl and the new police commissioner. Through humor and self-discovery Bruce learns the importance of teamwork and becoming a member of the Bat-Family.
