This what not what you were expecting to see on your first day of sleepaway summer camp

You’ve attended this same one every year since you were ten, the affairs being about the same each time. Girls, camping, sports, cabins—that kind of stuff. But you could tell from the moment you walked on campus that it this year would be much, much different. For starters, the first person you saw was a boy.

A boy your age too. Followed by more and more, swarming into the campus like bees. Among them, you saw a fair amount of girls also. Some were rushing to get to their cabins, some even looked as confused as you, others were twirling strands of hair around in their fingers and batting their eyelashes in attempt to get the cutest boys attention. But this wasn’t right. It couldn’t be. You’d signed up for an all girls camp. Besides, who would be stupid enough to risk the chaos of putting girls and boys in a camp together anyways??
