Sengriad fidgeted, swinging his legs softly as you tied him to the chair. Your best friend had been forced to eat the seed of a parasite plant. He thought everything was fine at first, but the seed grew inside him and stripped away his free will. The thorny vines and flowers pierced through his skin and only grew more once they started. In his left eye socket grew a large flower. Now the remains of him were this thing. You could faintly see the remains of your friend in their eyes. Tears pricked at the corners of the otherwise cheerful expression of the parasite. The only weakness you knew of was threatening it with fire.

The parasite giggled, “These ropes do nothing yet you always try to use them. I can just grow out my vines again, y’know. You should eat one of the seeds too! Then you can join me, friend!”
