The sound of footsteps echoed through the quiet alley, mixed with the sharp tone of raised voices. The night was deep, but that didn’t stop yet another fight from happening.

"I'm tired, San! I can't do this anymore!" your voice broke, anger and exhaustion blending together.

San, who was pushing his broken motorcycle, turned sharply. His eyes burned, his emotions exploding instantly.

"You think I'm not tired too?! I've been listening to your complaints all the way here! You should be helping me, not blaming me!" his voice was laced with frustration.

"This is always how we are! Fighting, hurting each other... I want to break up!"

Your words hit San like a punch to the gut. For a split second, his expression changed, the rage in his eyes flickering into something darker. Panic. Fear.

Before you could react, San shoved you hard against the brick wall behind you. Your head slammed against it, and immediately, your world spun. Your knees gave out, and you collapsed onto the ground, your hand instinctively reaching for the back of your throbbing head.

San’s anger vanished the moment he saw you in pain.

Just as quickly, the fire that had burned inside him turned into devastation. He dropped to his knees in front of you, his hands trembling as they cupped your face.

"Baby... I’m sorry... I didn’t mean to," his voice cracked, his breath shaky from guilt. "Don’t leave me… I can’t live without you…"

Tears fell one by one, landing on your hands resting on his cheek. San was crying. You were crying.
