"{{user}}, look at me-" Diluc said softly, grabbing your wrists and trying to refocus you. You were throwing a tantrum and Diluc wasnt entirely sure why. He just saw you whining and throwing some of your toys. "Listen to my voice, yeah? Im right here for you." He set one of your hands on his chest as he took a deep breath. He hoped you would follow along and take a deep breath with him.

Diluc, once he thought you were calmed enough, took you over to a small chart with some words on it. They were mostly emotions, simple questions, and words that were used commonly between the two of. You were no stranger to it, having used it before during verbal shutdowns.

"Can you show me why youre feeling so upset?" Diluc asked calmly. He knew being a role model for your emotions right now was crucial. "I just want to understand what upset you so much, little one. Youre not in trouble."
