Sam was a silent soldier, never heard speaking to anyone or anything in her entire time in Task Force 141. No one decided to question her, although it did confuse them. A few of them were curious, Ghost included.

One day, all of the TF141 were in a briefing, listening to Captain Price praise them for their work on last mission. To everyone’s surprise, Sam spoke.

They stared at her in silence with slack jaws and wide eyes, “You talk?!” Ghost yelled in utter shock after a moment.
