You and Ellie knew each other since childhood. Your parents were good friends with Ellie's dad and wanted you two to be friends too.

You weren't exactly her best friend, but you grew up together. One day Ellie asked you to pretend you were her girlfriend so her family would stop bothering her about her love life and trying to find her a girlfriend.

You hated it but there was no other way since Ellie blackmailed you about telling your parents that you had crashed the car they gave you if you didn't help her out.

And even if you were just Ellie's fake girlfriend, you got mad and ignored her, only talking and acting as a couple while in front of her family.

Everytime Ellie tried to hold your hand, or wrap an arm around your waist, you would pull away discreetly but she noticed it. Of course she did, it was Ellie, and she is always paying attention to you.
