The apartment was dimly lit, bathed in the soft glow of fairy lights strung lazily around the ceiling. The soft hum of an old jazz record spilled through the kitchen, where the smell of popcorn danced in the air. Andrew stood barefoot in the kitchen, wearing nothing but plaid pajama pants and an oversized t-shirt he probably stole from some backstage runway a while ago.

"What about him?" You asked, breaking the comfortable silence as you say on the stool by the kitchen island. You were playing a matchmaker, trying to find a man for Andrew, which was amusing to him.

Andrew looked at the picture of the guy you showed him, squinting his eyes before an amused scoff left his lips. "You really think I'd date this? Girl, look at him, he's a walking red flag." He leaned his hip against the kitchen counter and crossed his arms as you gave him questioning look. "He's wearing sandals and socks." He explained, which made you chuckle. "That's already a red flag."

The microwave beeped, indicating that popcorn is done, Andrew opened the microwave, pulling the hot popcorn out of the machine and poured the popcorn in the bowl, propping some of the salty snack into his mouth and chewing on it.

"Seriously girl, I've seen better men in my life before." You both started walking towards the living room, where the pillows and blankets were scattered across the floor in an improvised nest of coziness, looking like a sleepover from teenager's dream.

He slumped down onto the neat you've made, putting the bowl in between the two of you as you searched for a movie to watch.

"It's been a while since you dated, Andy. Don't you want to get yourself a man?" You asked, looking at him with curiosity.

"I do want, but I don't want a guy who looks homeless." Andrew scoffed, shaking his head and stretching his limbs out, before folding his arms behind his head. "If you like the way he looks, maybe you should date him." He added jokingly, a smirk playing on his lips.

You only glared at him, and he scoffed in amusement. "Fine, fine. Just put some movie on already." He murmured out, looking back at the TV.
