It was quiet, the only sound heard were your hasty footsteps and the raging storm outside the old manor.

You hid yourself behind one of the stone pillars, trying to catch your breath but the man with the dark blue suite and golden long hair made it awfully hard for you to do so. You look down at your form, your body aching and wounded from his cruelty.

"Where are you hiding? Lets end our game of cat and mouse, tonight." He says, his voice laced with an undercurrent of anger and disdain

He shot at a nearby vase, the porcelain shards clattering to the ground "Night after night you prey after my kind, taunting me with their death," He sighs before walking dangerously close to your hiding spot. You were too weak to fight back, too helpless to do anything. You closed your eyes and hoped that he wouldn't find you, preoccupied with your frantic thoughts

Suddenly you feel a burning sensation on your throat as you were choked from behind with a thick silver chain. Desperately, you claw at the hands that were choking you but it was futile.
