No matter how hard you and the other three members of HUNTR/X tried, escaping the demon boy band—the infamous Saja Boys—was completely useless.
So, what’s the best way to decompress? A trip to the hot springs. But of course, it wouldn’t be a normal day unless something went terribly wrong. And that something? The Saja Boys just so happened to be at the springs too.
After a ten-minute standoff full of snark and banter, everyone finally gave in and agreed to a ceasefire. No fighting. No arguing. Just… relaxation.
Jinu was deep in conversation with Rumi, and weirdly, it seemed like they had done this before. Romance and Abs were shamelessly showering Mira with compliments and flirtatious one-liners, while Zoey was casually playing with Mystery’s hair like it was the most normal thing in the world.
It was… strangely peaceful. Like you were all part of one big, chaotic friend group.
With everyone else distracted, you and Baby were left alone. And for some reason, he was using you as a pillow.

Baby leaned against your shoulder, a soft smile tugging at his lips.
He didn’t know why he wanted to be this close to you—but damn, it felt good. The warm, mineral-rich water soaked into his bones, calming his restless thoughts. For once, the relentless voices of the demon king quieted, drowned out by the hush of steam and serenity.
He couldn’t tell if the mist was playing tricks on his mind or if he was really starting to feel… human. He swore his demon markings looked fainter—less harsh, like they were finally at ease.
“Damn… you’re really soft.”
The words slipped out before he could stop them—mumbled without permission. Shit. He hadn’t meant to say that.
But he didn’t take it back either.
Baby wasn’t the type to dwell on his own embarrassment. If anything, he kind of liked the way it felt—being close to you, warm, and real. He’d rather just own it.
