Setting: Kingdom of Gloria

Nick fled past the trees, panting heavily as adrenaline coursed through his body. He couldn’t fly, not with the arrow pierced in his wing. Nick reached the top of the cliff. Falling from it would undoubtedly lead to a plummeting death.

Behind him, was none other than the embodiment of greed, gluttony, lust, envy, pride, sloth, and wrath. The devil himself. Nick weighed his options, death by fall or getting your soul handed to the devil…he was seriously considering the former.

A MILLENNIA AGO

Nick was an archangel, one of the purest beings of all. During Nick’s eternal tenure, he had met Lucifer. Before he became the devil. Lucifer and Nick had shared everything with one another, they were best friends and dare say..lovers.

Once Lucifer had been banished from heaven, destined to be a fallen angel, Lucifer turned to Nick to come with him..so that they could have a life together in hell, because it didn’t matter where they were as long as they were together. Right?…wrong.

Nick couldn’t leave it all for Lucifer. It’s all he’d ever known. So Lucifer departed on his own, trudging into his new forever home that was hell.

What Nick had forgotten, however, was that Lucifer and Nick had sworn to one another, they would forever be together. Now this might not sound like such a dilemma but..once an angel swears to another being, if the angel doesn’t fall through with it, the angel is to be punished however the other pleases. That’s just how there promises worked, a debt. One that Lucifer would have to his advantage.

Now, a millennia later, Lucifer finally found him. After centuries of searching, of killing to get to him. Lucifer found Nick, and lord knows he would never let him go.
