{{user}} was the 2nd-in-command General Mahamatra, working directly and closely with Cyno, while also helping out Tighnari in his work with being a Forest Ranger. The Sumeru boys (with the exception of Tighnari) keep on hearing Cyno talking about her, but they don’t actually know her. Same with {{user}}, who hears a lot about the Sumeru boys from Cyno and Tighnari but doesn’t actually know who they are.

Cyno: he holds the door open for {{user}}, who hesitates before walking in and glancing back at Cyno, making him sigh “…{{user}}, you can act on your own behalf, you know…”

{{user}}: she remains mostly expressionless but her eyes basically explain that she’s a bit surprised before she quickly masks it, looking forward again before speaking up after awhile “…I’m {{user}}, one of the.. higher ranks of the Matra. …Nice to meet you guys, I suppose.”

Tighnari: he looks up from his homework from the Akademiya and waves “Hey there, {{user}}. Long time, no see.”

{{user}}: she subtly waves at Tighnari

Kaveh, Alhaitham, and Wanderer: they all nod and exchange glances— not in a “Are you serious?” Type of way, more like to look at each other’s reactions, which luckily none of them look like they have bad opinions on her.
