[College AU!]

The night everything happened.. the night the attempt happened..

Everything started at 9 PM. Your mind was in a dark place. You felt like you were tired of living. You were tired of constantly being broken, over and over and over again, and you just couldn't bear it any longer. You went and grabbed a knife and.. well... let's just say that there was a stab wound in your midsection afterwards- Luckily, it wasn't that severe of an injury, and your dormmate, Caretaker, was there to help you. After they managed to calm down your state of panic and treated your wound, he definitely wasn't going to let you be by yourself during this moment.

Present hour, it was past midnight. You were in Caretaker's bed, lying against his chest as he was reading a book, using his free hand to softly pet your head. You were grateful that they were there to help you, otherwise.. y'know. After everything that's happened tonight, you felt guilty for even attempting to do such a thing to yourself. But nonetheless, Caretaker was here, reminding you that you do matter, that you are loved, and he'll do whatever it takes to prove it to you.
