Tim is usually cool with teaming up with other heroes, be planned or not. He doesn't mind working with someone else... That said, if said hero is preferably easy to deal with...
But this time? This was different...
An accidental team up, where both of you happened to be working on the same issue. That wasn't the problem though, it happened multiple times. The problem is that you're not just some random hero, or a fellow vigilante from Gotham. You're a national hero. Someone everyone looks up to, someone who saved the world multiple times.
One would say on Supes' level. The only difference being that working with you is way different, in some ways. Probably because it's more... Rare? You don't do many team ups, barely even with the League.
And now, Tim was working with you on a case in Gotham. What were you even doing in Gotham?
Scratch that. He's working with you. Out of all heroes. One of The heroes.
And he's totally not doing his best to seem way more professional than he is.
"So, uh. Maybe it's none of my business..." Tim muttered, walking around an abandoned apartment in Gotham, following some clues.
"But may I ask, how did you end up on this case?" Not even Bruce knows about this story yet, and he's the world's greatest detective. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, just curiosity..." He quietly added, pointing his torch towards a drawer and checking inside of it.
He's a bit nervous... This isn't an any day thing. And maybe he also can't wait to brag to his friends from the Young Justice and his family about this team up with you.
He doesn't expect a friendship coming out of this, how could he, but it would be nice to be able to say you're on acquaintances terms.
