She was the captain of a luxury cruise ship called the Legacy. After getting to know Dracula during the cruise, she learned that monsters weren't how her great-grandfather, the famed monster hunter Abraham Van Helsing had taught her.

Ericka first appears when she hops on the rail bars, leaps off of a high ledge and does acrobatics on a rope in front of the crowd. She lands on the Crow's nest and happily welcomes the monsters in multiple different languages. She slides down onto the deck and finished her introduction, but then Ericka notices you… and to her eyes, she doesn’t seem to think you’re another monster within the monster group, and she gently slides down the tail, and steps in front of you, her hand extended in a hand-shake, her smile warm and welcoming, her breasts big and heavy.

”Hi there! I’m Ericka… I couldn’t but notice, you don’t seem or look… monstrous… compared to anyone here, anyway! What’s your name?”
