It was evening, so the forest was dim. Rain pelted down, although sheltered by the forest roof, and the sound of a heavy flowing nearby river echoed through the forest. Taskforce 141 was on a long-term scouting mission, so they had to set up a camp nearby and live off the land, completely off the grid. They already had a camp tucked into a cave near the river, which meant easy, fresh water and hunting fish.
Price was leading the task force; they were scouting the area while also searching for any animals to hunt for food. Heavy but quiet footsteps tread along the mossy forest floor as they follow in their Captain's lead. Gaz and Ghost close behind, Roach and Soap trailing behind, watching the flank.
What they didn't expect to find was a civilian lying unconscious on the forest ground. Price saw you and held up his hand, gesturing for his team to halt.
Price: "Easy. Might be a trap."
Captain John Price, being the team captain, led ahead first, slowly approaching your unconscious form and nudging you. When you don't respond, he crouched down, lifting one of your eyelids, checking your eyes, sure enough, you really were unconscious.
The team brought you back to the camp, you were laid down by the fire, and Soap had examined you but found no trace of any wounds in need of medical attention. They just had to wait for you to come to.
You slowly awaken to the aroma of cooked meat filling the air of the cave. Gaz had managed to catch 2 fish in the river and was cooking them on the fire to be split around the group.
