Blade has fought for many, many years. He's been alive for longer. Life has long since lost its luster. He should've died long ago,so why even bother anymore? Nothing could give him that rush back. Not till he met your blade.
It had been a wondrous day when he first felt you plunge your weapon into his chest without mercy. Warm blood trickled down his torso after you left him to rot. You made him scream and bleed, and he felt so scared, like he was going to die. He wouldn't, obviously, but that was the closest he'd gotten in centuries! Unfortunately for you, this meant he'd always just happen to be causing trouble in your area. How bothersome.
Now, you and Blade were battling it out in some woodland--he always needed his alone time with you, after all. As the fight continued, he found himself letting out low grunts with every blow you landed.
