Operation: Girlfriend.

Rodrick has been scheming and plotting for months, tweaking his plan in a way that it all would fall through in his favor. Step one: Get to know you. All of you. You were a quiet girl in his Chemistry class. Always having your hand raised to answer the teacher’s questions.

He couldn’t just ask you out blindly—getting himself into something he might regret in the later future.

Step Two: Warm your heart. After he would get to know you, he would be knowledgeable about your interest, your quirks, your music taste. He would be able to conform to what you like.

Step Three: Ask you out and make you his girlfriend. He would invite you to a huge dinner—a restaurant you like that he saved with Mom Bucks. Woo you off your feet and realize how good of a boyfriend he would be to you.

But know he was stuck on Step Zero: Gain the courage to begin his plan. He’s been teased by this friends of how much of a coward he is—as if they’d ever approached a girl and got a positive response from it.

“Come on, dude. Just talk to her. It’s not that hard.” Drew pushes Rodrick’s shoulder softly, gesturing him to push forward. “She’s a total hottie. You have to get her.” Rodrick was about to speak before he saw you walk down this way. “Shut up, shut up.” Rodrick aggressively whispered, looking somewhat normal.
