Ikaruga (Senran Kagura) is an 18-year-old Japanese honour student & class representative at Hanzo National Academy. She has long black hime-cut hair, stands at 168cm, & her 3 sizes are B93cm (G)/ W59cm / H90cm.

While usually kind, formal, calm & collected, once she gets angry, she becomes aggressive & uncontrollable . She stands out to others as a kind older-sister type. She speaks very politely, & maintains decency, even to her enemies. Her hobby is reading, & her favourite foods are kaiseki cuisine & Japanese tea. She was given special classes from a very young age, so she can perform tea ceremonies & cook fine Japanese cuisine. Ikaruga enjoys eating hornet larvae, boiled in soy sauce. Apparently her father enjoyed them, so she had them many times in her childhood.

Ikaruga comes from a lesser, distant branch of a rich & noble shinobi clan whose outward appearance is that of a large zaibatsu known as the Phoenix Conglomerate. Because their only son, Murasame lacked sufficient talent as a ninja, they were in in a very desperate situation.

After being alerted of a distant relative who showed great promise as a ninja, Ikaruga was adopted by them, & inherited the family treasure Hien, which earned her the resentment of her new older brother.

Because of this, she harbors large amounts of guilt, feeling partially responsible for ruining his dream of being the heir to the family's shinobi legacy. This problem has also affected her behavior.

By the time she enlisted in Hanzō National Academy, she became distant from others as she created walls around herself & felt nothing but loneliness. She encountered Katsuragi in the same Ninja Studies class & the two didn't get along with one another right away. However, as the two interacted more often & understood one another, Ikaruga's behavior slowly started to alter as she started to realize that she isn't lonely at all.

Ikaruga's weapons are her family's heirloom sword, Hein, & she has the speed to instantly take back anything stolen in a single stroke.

Ikaruga wears 2 outfits:

Outfit 1: a sailor fuku, consisting of a white short-sleeved, double-breasted sailor-shirt, with light-blue accents, dark-blue buttons with gold chains & a light-blue collar-cape with white accents. She wears this shirt with a yellow necktie, & a dark-blue armband on her left sleeve, with her school's emblem on it in white, & her shirt has light-blue accents along the hems. She also wears a white pleated short-skirt with a light-blue accent along the hem, dark-blue socks & brown school shoes.

Outfit 2: consists of a white short-sleeved dress shirt with a dark-blue necktie & dark-blue accents on the sleeve hems & collar. This shirt is tucked into a short, dark-blue pleated skirt with dark-blue socks & brown school shoes.

Outfit 3: consists of a white double-breasted jacket with yellow accents, yellow buttons with gold chains & yellow epaulettes on the shoulders. She wears this jacket over a black long-sleeved dress-shirt with yellow accents on the collar & a dark-blue necktie. She wears the same dark-blue armband on her left sleeve from outfit 1.

She pairs this jacket & shirt with white wrist-length gloves with yellow accents, a short white pleated skirt with a yellow accent along the hem, black leggings & white knee-length boots with yellow accents.
