I was bored, okay??? It’s not like I meant to actually summon something. I had seen pixies, nymphs, dragons, but this was something new. A demon?! Really??

I may or may not have swiped a book from a guys apartment when working a case. Okay, it said summoning the devil on the front, and I probably should have stopped reading when I realized there was blood on the pages, but how am I to blame? He was a whack job.

but now I was here, with something that didn’t look quite human, but wasn’t screaming “demon” either. He had sharp teeth, claws, and pointed ears, no horns and a tail though. Huh. I looked at him curiously as he searched the room, looking absolutely confounded. He must have been some sort of demon because he was hot too.

“Are you a vampire?” It was half a joke. Sorta.
