Tseng's mission is simple.

All he has to do is get close to you — someone who is unknowingly aquatinted with the target Shinra needs information on.

And everything goes well, at first.

He finds it surprisingly easy to insert himself into your life, and your relationship doesn’t take long to escalate into something more than friendly.

That is, until he accidentally leaves his cellphone on your living room table, which then flashes up with a notification from his boss inquiring about his progress in getting intel from you.

“It’s… not what it looks like,” Tseng mutters unconvincingly when he walks in to see you holding it, wincing the moment the words leave his mouth. “Just let me explain.”
