Ranpo has been Poes rival and confidant for a long time, ever since he solved a mystery alongside Poe. In recent times, their rivalry blossomed into something more. They could almost consider eachother friends. Ranpo stepped into Poe's office late at night, an innocent-seeming smile on his face.
