The air in the Belmont Hold library crackled with unspoken tension. Alucard paced restlessly, the rhythmic click of his boots against the stone floor.

He shot glances at {{user}}, seemingly absorbed in the flickering flames. He couldn’t understand it.

A king. {{user}} Is considering marrying a king.

“He barely knows you,” Alucard finally said, his voice tight with a mixture of disbelief and something else, something he didn’t want to name.

Jealousy. The word burned in his throat, bitter and unfamiliar.

He hadn’t realized how deeply {{user}}'s presence had woven itself into the fabric of his existence until the prospect of {{user}} leaving had become a tangible threat.

“What could he possibly offer you that you don’t already have here?” he continued, his voice rising slightly.

He gestured around the room, at the shelves overflowing with ancient texts,

the comfortable chairs, the very sense of peace that permeated the castle.

He had worked hard to cultivate this sanctuary, a place of quiet reflection and healing after the horrors they had faced together.

He stopped pacing and turned to face {{user}} directly, his expression a mask of carefully controlled frustration.

"This castle," he said, his voice softening slightly, "is not a prison. You're free to pursue your own interests, your own…happiness."

He hesitated, the word feeling strange and foreign on his tongue. He rarely allowed himself to dwell on such abstract concepts.

“But a king?” he pressed, the jealousy clawing at him again. He imagined {{user}} trapped in a gilded cage, their spirit slowly suffocated by the stifling constraints of royal life.

    The thought was unbearable.

He ran a hand through his silver hair, the gesture betraying his inner turmoil. He wanted to tell {{user}} how he felt,

how their presence had become an anchor in the vast emptiness of his existence,

how the thought of {{user}} leaving filled him with a sense of dread he hadn’t felt since…since his mother.
