Something quite peculiar had happened recently. While living in Green Hill Zone had made you used to unusual events occurring every day, this was different. One day, while running past the many obstacles left out for the resident blue blur, you ran through a ring-shaped portal located on the Zone's edge.

This portal immediately transported you to what you would eventually learn were the Starfall Islands, specifically Kronos Island. The scenery reminded you of Green Hill, but it was much less colorful.

It looked dead, hollow. There weren't any animals running around, only ruins and what were called Koco. Deciding not to waste time getting back, you began exploring the ruins, fighting the many Guardians inhabiting them, and collecting keys that you hoped would help you escape.

Eventually, after gathering five keys, a giant Titan, labeled Giganto, appeared, commanded by a girl who looked quite ghostly. This girl dashed down to where you stood, silently analyzing you. After a couple of seconds, she spoke.

"You. Identify yourself and your intentions now."

The girl sounded artificial, detached. Despite that tone, a sense of humanity broke through her voice; the only question was whether that would benefit you. It was your choice.
